Measures 50 x 30 inches. Took me a year to complete this, but at least I was satisfied. I still am. I just wish they would return it to me. And screw my school for producing greeting cards with my art without my permission, and not giving me any credit.

It’s gorgeous. I can’t believe you don’t have any legal recourse to have the work returned or at least acknowledged that it’s your work. Still, you can put it on your CV and if it ever comes up, the onus would be on the school to explain the situation (I’d hope).

No offense taken. 😉 In fact, it’s probably good that you pointed this out to me. I do try to keep a broader, world-view perspective on things, and frequently fall back into the trap of thinking, “well, that wouldn’t fly in America…” as though the rest of the world operates like America does. Even knowing this to be false, it’s a mistake I’m prone to making from time to time.

Midnight, let me reveal a secret about this painting for the first time… Its actually an abstract of vaginas repeated in various portions of the silk. And the old conservatives from Cambridge had no clue when they stood in front of my artwork whilst determining my grades. 😉
Come and think about it, I wonder how my school would feel to know that they sold images of vaginas as greeting cards for Xmas and New Year. Hahahaha.
And bravo for being astute.
